Board game cafe

On Monday, my FYP friends and 1 postgrad met at Pitstop cafe for Kian Kern's farewell (the guy). He is going to Shenzhen to work... Bye KK! although I don't think you have my blog add. Haha... Hm.. the food was not bad, pricing was OK and service was good: check out their blog www.pitstopcafe.blogspot.com. We played a multitude of games but what I liked the best was playing the game ticket to ride!! So fun!!

Basically you are a railway builder. You are given at least 2 goals to complete (thats a total of 4 stations far away from 1 another) and you have to try to build the tracks, intercept others and make 1 continous railway for each goal. The railway tracks are colour coded so you need to have cards of that colour and the correct amount of cards stated to build tracks (example 4 pink).

Each turn you can only choose to draw 2 cards or build your tracks. 5 cards are always opened up and the rest are closed deck - you draw 2 cards in anyway you want. And if you finish building, you can draw more goals to complete. How fun is that?

Ha so yesterday (Tuesday) I spent the day scouring the net to see where I can buy the game. Well Settlers cafe do sell it, but price is $80+. USA Toy R' Us sells it for about S$60... Sob...
Anybody wants to sponsor? Haha :P

Ha I think I can use it though. My cousins can play with me, Shicai can play, my bro can play & I can drag it to Kel's house to play as well. Insane but fun.
